Kiwenik & Kasq Indigenous Knowledge Institute (KKIKI) is a family-led initiative founded by Kiwenik “Kyle” and Kasq “Natalie” Lolar. We specialize in Indigenous Knowledge Education, ethnobotanical Histories, archaeological cultural knowledge, coastal marshland ecology, and Indigenous data governance.
Our mission is to bridge traditional ecological knowledge with modern educational and operational frameworks, ensuring that biocultural data is protected, respected, and utilized to empower communities. From on-the-ground marshland restoration to digital media and professional consulting, we build pathways that honor the land and steward our shared future.

We design hands-on curricula, including Biocultural Field Technician training and immersive plant observation journals. Through single-take educational video walks and active coastal marshland restoration, we bring ethnobotany and plant literacy to life for local educational partners and the broader community.
Consulting & Data Sovereignty
We guide organizations in strictly aligning with the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance. Our consulting services provide actionable frameworks—from Biocultural Data Sharing Agreements to compliance audits and destruction certificates—ensuring that traditional knowledge is stewarded with absolute integrity.
